When I started my business in 2002, one of my goals was to remove the fear of unknown costs of design services. My "Flat Fee" approach to billing makes hiring a designer affordable and straightforward; you’ll know exactly what you’re paying for. I knew a vast untapped market of clients who needed design services but were too afraid to ask. Hourly billing can cause uncertainty that leads to unnecessary stress. So my services have always been based on a "Flat Fee." This approach keeps me focused on your project instead of counting hours.

Hilda has done an awesome job helping us do a whole house remodel. Specifically she has helped us pick out furniture, accessories, light fixtures, paint colors, fabrics, etc. Hilda has taken several trips with us to actually go out and find the items we wanted for our home. On several occasions, Hilda has gone with us to High Point, NC to buy furniture and other items such as rugs and lamps. I know that Hilda has made a huge difference in how our home looks now. I can truly say that we could not have done the remodel without her. She is easy going, professional, and just an all round good person. We hired Hilda when we moved to the area in 2015 to help us renovate and decorate a 4,000 sq ft suburban home, and again in 2018 when we purchased a 2,000 sq ft lake home. Hilda brings all the design skills and experience you would expect, but also a ferocious approach to protecting her clients and looking out for them - whether that is ensuring we get the best price to double checking contractors' workmanship. Hilda has been a great advocate for us as we have zero experience in this area.
